Giving Santa a run for his money, Lucy Rose
is like the bearer of good news and gifts of late. Today, she releases her
latest video for upcoming single, ‘Shiver’.
Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Like I Used To’, Shiver will be the last video and single to be taken from the album.
Reminiscent of the silent montages displayed in UP, the latest video from Lucy is stark contrast to the Hells Angels approach of previous release, ‘Bikes’. Displaying a perfect array of shots following an elderly chap, combined with Super 8 footage of Lucy, the video is a unique yet wonderful approach from the young singer-songwriter.
Bound to warm your heart on this cold day, the
video is the perfect accompaniment to the stunningly beautiful track. Teaming
chilling guitar chords and Lucy’s trademark delectable vocals, Shiver builds to
a huge, harmonious chorus, showcasing an icy yet simplistic, atmospheric
backing.
As if that wasn’t enough, Lucy has
announced support slots for non other than Counting Crows’ UK shows. Currently
on tour, Lucy will headline London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on Tuesday 14th
May, her largest show to date.
Single ‘Shiver’ will be released on 8th April on Columbia.

post here)
