As you know, I am a supporter of live music, homegrown talent and all that. Well tonight I want to introduce you to my very good friend who just so happens to be a dab hand at acoustic.

I've been meaning to introduce him to you lot for a long time now but I feel the time has come, especially as he's released some new material. I would love for you to take a listen, maybe even let me know what you think. 

With a dreamy, melancholy tone, singer-songwriter Adam Hegab is reminiscent of the likes of Benjamin Francis Leftwich in his newly released demo, Hide And Seek In The Dark.

Hailing from Manchester, the 21 year old musician began writing when he was 16 but explains he has played the piano since he was tall enough to sit on the chair. Citing influences from the likes of John Martyn, The Verse and Davy Graham, Hegab goes on to explain all music has influenced him whether it be consciously or sub consciously, "I never dislike any music, it's just a preference".

With catchy riffs and hearty vocals, the upbeat I Got Time displays an energetic raw talent. Whilst many students go out and drink, Hegab enjoys staying in, writing. It's not so much making time for something you love, it's what he does.
