How are you?
Wow, I can't believe it's 10pm.
So today has been pretty good although again, not awfully productive.
However, after a terribly sad past couple of days today, I had a smile from ear to ear.
I got a pretty awesome email.. asking me to photograph at a festival, Wakestock here in the UK if any of you know it. To say I am excited would be an understatement and of course I replied back saying I'd be more than willing/happy to do it.
What an amazing opportunity.
Anyway, other than that I've mainly been doing work and listening to the radio, pinning away on Pinterest and eating cake mixture.
I was also talking to my best friend Sophie and she reminded me I really have been meaning to tell you all about something for quite sometime now.
For anyone reading in the UK imagine the fashion groupon, for anyone else, it's called Uscoop. To put it simply, it's a "college lifestyle and flash sale website. Uscoop sources trends on campuses and takes photos of students. Based on what brands the students are wearing or buying, they offer discounts on e-vouchers to those online retail websites."
It's a wonderfully innovative idea, bringing exclusive deals to college students on the latest trends, what's hot to trot shall we say. Celebrating the wonderful life of us college students. Not only do they keep you up to date with the latest style in their aptly named 'Style Watch', you can also view many pimped out 'cribs'. No I am not talking about 'Cribs' the MTV show, I'm talking about the rooms we find on campus, whether they be cute, quirky, small or big, in all their glory.
So, Sophie is doing a little something here in the UK for the guys over at Uscoop and I am going to give her a helping hand. We're going to be getting snap happy with the latest trends here in the UK and I may even show everyone my room, debatable.
