Day 209 of 365

Wednesday 28th March

Good evening. Apologies today was a little crazy busy hence the backdated blogging.
So tomorrow I have my interim review before Easter and then I'm off for a week, on a beach, in a mere few days I am going to try my best to make you all insanely jealous!
In the nicest way possible, of course! :)

How are you lovely bunch?
The weather is looking especially nice lately isn't it. I sure hope it sticks around for the next week so I can enjoy it a little more than the rare glimpse I get once or twice a day through my skylight.
I figure I've kinda failed on the March Photo a day challenge, as much as it pains me to say. I will attempt it again someday as I think it's bloody brilliant but I may have to postpone it until I finish all this work. After all, as much as I love photography, I am infact in the final study of an extremely demanding course. I really need to buck up my ideas and unleash the inner geek hidden inside of me. Dust off a few cobwebs and befriend the library once more. The time has nearly come to graduate, how have the past three years flown back like that?
I wouldn't change a thing though. I often joke I'd have chosen a different career. Although, I have become increasingly infatuated with music and all things music/photography and arts over the past year - Architecture still remains my main focus of study.
I think however, the time has come, after all this study, sleepless nights and caffiene overloads, maybe a break. Just a few weeks/months, maybe even a year. Who knows what the following year will bring. I hope it'll bring lots of new and exciting opportunities and I hope, if like me, you're ready to brave the big world alone, starting a new job or simply plodding along with a familiar job, let's hope the next year brings us happiness, prospects and not forgetting fun!

So I guess that's my inspirational talk to myself via. my blog. Urging me to make the best of the opportunities i have been so lucky to have been given at an early age. Whilst we're also on the subject of jobs, I don't know if I mentioned...
I only went and scored my dream job.
'Lifestyle photographer at Wakestock'.
Boomshackalacka.
Fantastic.
On that note, I'll be off!

However I did say I'd leave you with a little treat. Tomorrow. I promise.
In the meantime, have this, as a token of my goodwill.
Enjoy it. Enjoy the sunshine.
