Day 203 of 365
Well, well well.
Hello there.
How are you?
So, today you'll be pleased to know... i was able to move from the house.
By that I mean, away from my computer screens for a matter of hours.
I am now in bed typing this with squinted eyes, I can't be bothered to turn the lights up on my keys, oh so bright!
Anyway, the day started well, I was woken up at 7am with light filling my room. What a beautiful day it was, the power of the skylight huh.
The black out blind has been hidden far away, well rolled up as far as I can possibly make it. It's far too dangerous, disorientating and to be quite frank, makes me utterly lazy.
So I headed into Uni. Not forgetting the moment I very nearly, almost fell over on the bus, you know when it's turning a corner and you have the walk from the seat to the front, kinda feels like you're walking the plank. Luckily I managed to quickly grab hold of the hand rail, regaining some sort of normality.
Hung round in uni for a bit and then had a tutorial, went rather well. Then I decided to head into town. Is it really sad, I love my own company. I would much prefer to do things like this alone, I grabbed a coffee and spent ages and ages in Waterstones. I found some super cool books and treated it like a library as I sat with my head burrowed far into the realms of Architecture.
Anyway, something kinda funny happened whilst doing so.
At this point I was kneeling on the floor. Next, a man, around 60 came over, I glanced over my shoulder as he looked a bit iffy, creeping about behind me. Little did I know he was actually trying to find his way out. Next thing I know the alarms are blazing, right where I am. All eyes look at me as the man walked through the door and maybe has entered an unknown world, Narnia perhaps. As I see signs,
'this door is alarmed'.
What's funny about this story is it gave me a grin, filled me with a sense of contentment. In actual fact this happened to me. I was that busy on my phone I walked through the nearest door, little did I know it was the fire exit. I swiftly moved away before anyone suspected and attempted to scurry my Mum out of the shop before telling her it was infact me. Half an hour later as we walked past, it was still going off. My face was red for quite a long time.
Hey also, you know Starbucks, have you been lately? They now address you by name. They write your name on your cup. Well, today I said my name to the girl behind the counter who practically proclaimed her undying love for me, I was told on several occasions my name was the best name in the world. I was beginning to wonder what on earth she was on about 'til she whipped out her name badge. Who'd have thought it, not like it's a common name or anything... Anyway, I appreciate her happiness. It did fill me with happiness.
Anyway, this is turning into an almighty babble with not much point of interest.
So, I am going to sign off with a few fun things that you should definitely listen to, right about now.
