Thursday 5/1/12

Well, well, well.
Hello there.

It is the return of the running shoes, sexy attire and hair strewn across a sweaty face.
Oh the joys. Happy New Year hey!
So i used to be quite the keep fit sorta gal but this last semester, since summer it's all gone horribly downhill.
I haven't ran in I can't even tell you how long and quite frankly, it has been killing me.
So today, as I said... I set my alarm rather hopelessly for 6:30am. 

Deep down, I knew that was never going to end well. 
I did however, think maybe I would prove myself wrong.
Well, I didn't. Instead, I snoozed for an half an hour, oh then another hour, oh then 2 hours later than expected I arose.

So unfortunately as I couldn't bare to run with squinted eyes and a sloth like movement I decided the couch was a much better idea. I then managed to get through the dreaded dissertation and sent a 12 page draft *high five.

However, the time has come.
Sat on the couch watching a God awful tv show.
It's at this point I decided it had to be done, New year, new start.
Resolutions...

1. Do at least 20 minutes exercise a day, including at least a mile run - apparently it adds 3 years on to your life...

2. Try to run at least 7 minute miles everyday

3. Health eating. Chocolate, sweets, crisps and fizzy drinks on special occasions only!

Thankfully tonight is a special occasion, a farewell Chinese with the bestest of friends.



PS. 'Hey, I put some new shoes on and suddenly everything is right, I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling...'
