Day 139 of 365

Tuesday 17/1/12

Well good afternoon. It appears 9am is far too early for a meeting however, it did mean I could enjoy a little retail therapy in the peaceful morning hours. So, how are you lovely readers?


I did something extremely silly this morning, I got on the wrong bus and ended up in the middle of nowhere resulting in a long walk home carrying half of a craft shop under my arm. It was freezing and I was being lazy so decided to get on the next bus, little did I know I was travelling in the complete opposite direction to my house. Damn.


Anyway, tonight I am off for a run, in this icy weather. Running is going well at the moment, starting to get back into the swing of things and it proves a nice little break in between working these treacherous long hours! I have found myself a little jogging buddy too which makes it that bit easier. 


So apart from the dreaded journey home, not a lot has happened today. I went for lunch with a uni friend and after the chat resorted to work I thought I better escape back into my boudoir of computer screens and coffee mugs. Something good did happen today, come to think of it. I found out I have a week off shortly. Hallelujah. 


I know it's only just been Christmas but us students, well architecture students, we work bloody hard. I promise. 


I will be returning home. I can't wait to see the family and of course the beloved canine. 
I said hi to him on the phone today, is that sad? For some reason my parents the past two times I've rang think it's really funny to see the poor doggies reaction to my loving voice. He's still scratching at my bedroom door looking about for me, bless him. 


Maybe I will get a few shifts at work too, I have missed the weddings. Plus, Jamiroquai played there two days ago, so annoyed I missed it! In other news, I am still attempting to get through that Bigger packet of Pic n Mix I got delivered the other day... so good.
