Day 63 of 365
Wednesday.
Half way through the week, ahhh yeah.
So last night, I came upstairs from the pre drinks in the downstairs flat, feeling a little hungup about not going out however I was shattered and didn't feel too great.
I decided a bath would do the job however, it was 1am.
Oh well, if I haven't told you before, I get a bath daily, sometimes twice daily.
In my opinion, showers are so over-rated.
They're good for one thing and that's washing hair.
So, I took my magazine into the bath and did that annoying thing where you fall asleep and keep waking yourself up by the sudden jolts. I figured being surrounded by water this was not a brilliant idea however, I couldn't move.
After letting out half of the water and feeling a little more safe I think I slept for about half an hour before dragging myself up to bed.
All these sleepless nights and study is taking its toll. As if I didn't know that 'til now.
So today, I turned on the trusty radio, or wireless as my Grandad likes to say.
Following my stints on Radio over the summer he likes to refer to it, 'you been on the 'ole wireless again love?'
Unfortunately no however today, I did get a mention on the website and a shout out.
This was due to an AMAZING song I just had to let my opinions be heard.
You know how much I love music, new music at best.
So, today I must share with you something, whether it be the one thing you learn today - check it out, you won't regret it, I promise.
A couple of weeks back my all time fav. band Bon Iver were on Jools Holland and also, a young lady by the name of Lianne La Havas.
Today on the radio, good old Fearne Cotton played this song and I sat there, staring at the screen, listening intently.
Plus, something really special. I hear Lianne sang with Sunday girl in the Radio1 live lounge, brilliant. Even better, Lianne has been asked to tour with Bon Iver. I think my life is complete.
Yes, that's me.
Peace
