Day 228 of 365

Monday 16th April

Morning.

Wow it's already been an awfully long day and it's barely midday. So, I decided to stay another night at home so therefore, got up super early this morning and set about my drive back to University. Now usually, with some good songs this 1hr40 journey goes swimmingly. However, this morning. The true epitome of a Mundane Monday morning. Seems everyone had the same idea, to leave at 6.30am. 

It also didn't help that most of the motorway was closed for 'maintenance'. Now, that's certainly one of the most irritating things in life. When there is clearly no maintenance going on, no sign of life for many weeks yet you all get told to drive 50mph over two lanes, with lorries taking this as their calling to attempt to now be the fastest on the road. Please, I don't know whether this blog appeals to truckers but if you're reading this laughing to yourself, thinking yeah that's me. Please, please don't. You don't realise how much it infuriates me, sat behind as you attempt to prove you're the top dog. Attempting to overtake your fellow driver in the inside lane. He tends to speed up, is it some sorta race or something. No.

Apologies everybody else for that little rant. Pet hates hey! What are yours? 

So, infact instead of the short journey it took me just over 3 hours! 3 HOURS! Crazy. 

Luckily I was back in time to get to Uni for 10am and here I am, sat here. Worrying as I look around and see work, students scurrying to print off. Tutors sighing and the studio, looking like a junk yard, bits of models everywhere. This will be my life for the remaining weeks. Infact, this may be the last blog post in a little while. As much as I would love to continue blogging daily, with this increased work load, things seem sorta impossible. I will however try my very best, just for you wonderful lot.

Anyway, today I received a little tweet from my new friend Tanja. Tanja got married at work some time last year, I remember seeing her photos and thinking, what a fab wedding. Seriously, like one of the best I've ever seen and what a dress. It helps that Tanja is a complete delight to go with it. Infact, we have struck up quite the friendship, many thanks to the wonderful world of Twittersphere. 

So, Tanja has a wonderful blog that is bursting with inspiration, lifestyle some beautiful photography. Seems she also cooks up quite the storm! 

Anyway, Tanja asked if I'd be interesting in featuring on her blog sometime. Since I am somewhat in love with music, as you're all aware I jumped at the opportunity to introduce a new feature, also known as Music Mondays.
