Day 40 of 365

Wow time sure flies when you're having fun, I can't believe I've kept to this for 40 days and 40 nights, it feels like lent, except I never stick to anything. So, today has been a long, tiring day. I am stiff and aching all over, I feel like a creaking gate. I need oiling, by that I mean I need a massage, and quick. Spent the whole day in University, got a little bit wet on the way there but thankfully the bus came just in time.

I picked up the paper on the bus as I do most mornings when I can't be bothered to get up that extra bit earlier and make the long walk into town. I was flicking through a few boring features, television trash, showbiz, sports and then I got to a real sad article. Before I went away this past weekend, I found a twitter page for an incredibly brave young boy named Harry.

Harry Moseley helped raise more than £500,000 for Cancer Research UK in the four years after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Times like this I feel saddened by the loss, someone who touched the hearts of many he never met, including myself. I am currently sitting in bed worrying about work, as my mom always says, 'if that's the only thing you need to worry about, don't - it's not the end of the world'.

So where do I pick up a blog post like this then, it's heading to a depressing fail but, I will try my very best to give you a little insight into my day/weekend as promised.

'Dance as if no one were watching, sing as if no one were listening, and live every day as if it were your last'.

Well I can safely say I definitely did all of the above over the weekend, given I am now suffering a mild/mega memory loss - I can conclude it was an epic success. I met some super cool people, watched some awesome riders throwing some crazy tricks and chilled. A much needed chill was had by all.

I am awaiting photographic evidence like I said however I am told there are well over 1500 photographs to trawl through so I am not going to be pushy and nag the poor guy, they will come in due course and if there are any cool ones I will be sure to share, maybe not if they feature me face planting, whether it be in or out of the water, you decide.

So, how is everyone today? My friend made me a cupcake and brought it in as a little treat, I smiled, man it was good. I then came home and made a home made curry and it was bloody ggggreat if I may say so myself, just call me Nigella.

We finally have a television, did I tell you ours exploded a little while back, about a week and a half ago now, whilst watching breakfast! Yes, it's good having it back, nice to not have to stare at a blank screen whilst eating!

Anyway, without further ado- rambling and nonsense aside I am heading to bed.
My much deserved, comfy, warm bed whilst I hear the rain drumming on my skylight. I like Winter, I have decided, not so much when I am in a wetsuit in baltic conditions, but when I am tucked in bed, it's my friend.

Oh yeah, before I sleep, I have to go watch Alien Vs Predator, yeah I thought I was doing an architecture degree too, must have been mistaken all those years ago when I chose to do Film and Media instead.

Jokes, I am doing Architecture. This weeks task is to compare and graphically represent the iconography and symbology amongst two different films. Sounds really fun right? Wrong.

Night
