Day 59 of 365
Starting a pub run early afternoon was never going to end well.
Rollie pollies across pedestrian crossings.
Sit ups, press ups and star jumps outside a supermarket.
Downing a pint of cider with snack-a-jacks and raisins mixed in.
Let's face it. It was never going to end nicely.
It did however, end quickly. Much quicker than expected.
So it got close to when normal people start getting ready to go out and my housemates really drunk. I decide to take her home and get some food. Bare in mind I was also pretty under the influence. After getting some much needed munch we walked back to the house.
The idea was that we would chill for a little while, regain some sort of consciousness and return back without anybody knowing.
This however, was not the case.
We got home, turned the tele on and I FELL ASLEEP.
Yes, you heard it.
I woke up to my other housemate shaking me telling me to go to bed, I figure this was several hours after I fell asleep and the original housemate had left and gone back out as planned.
Well, I felt like an idiot. I did however feel a little relieved. The thought of spending anymore money, downing another pint and feeling horrific the next morning did not fill me with much excitement to go back out. The other factor being by the time I had woken up everyone was back home.
What happened next drove me crazy. It appears my body only requires 3 hours sleep these days and after getting this on the sofa, once I sauntered to bed I was wide awake. A second wind some may call it, I call it a down right bloody nuisance. I tossed and turned, huffed and puffed and with no avail.
6am came and passed, thank god the clock went back or else it could have been even worse.
So yeah, that was my night.
Pretty eventful.
Hope you all had a great weekend
