Day 53 of 365

Good evening. Ahh Sunday's, I think they're my new favourite day of the week. I have had a lovely relaxing day. I know I said I would be sure to fill you in on all the antics from last night however, come to think of it, it was a pretty normal night with not a lot to say. Oh one funny thing happened. We had a house party, invited all the neighbours to introduce ourselves.

Anyway, we all got taxis to this club, cut out all the bits in between and there you have me, 1am - shattered. So, I decide to take a cab home and meet my housemates at home. I was so tired, I wasn't feeling too good before I went out, I think I'm coming down with a cold or something and I knew I had my dissertation to do today. Hangover and Uni work doesn't bode too well. So anyway, I get home and the front door to the house is wide open.
Panic stricken I push the door quietly. I then look up to my flat and the flat door is swung open. Horror.
So, what do I do.
Hide behind the wall before making the brave move into the flat.
Bare in mind, at this point all my housemates were still at the club.
I listen intently. I can hear footsteps. I can hear deep breathing.
By now I am getting pretty scared.
With a bit of dutch courage as a result of a few cocktails I decide to brave it, I stop when I hear a little voice from the other side of the wall, 'Oh my god, oh my god...'
I jump into the flat and there's my housemate.
Hands over her face panicking beyond belief, thinking she was about to be faced with a burglar. I was on the other side, thinking the exact same thing.

After a lot of laughter the night was dying down and I just had to get some sleep. Feeling refreshed this morning I woke up to be faced with a house of hungover students. I love uni life. trashy take outs and television all day with duvets on the sofa?

Unfortunately I had a dissertation to write, fortunately it took a lot less time than previously imagined meaning I had some time to play. I got my bike out and cycled to my friends, we had a Sunday roast and stuffed our faces with cookies.

Simple pleasures.

So I have a hand in tomorrow for the dreaded dissertation, hoping all goes well. I also have a design tutorial - first stage of design, what to build, the possibilities are endless!
Just a shame I seem to hit a brick wall in my mind whenever I put pen to paper.

Right, I figure this post has been long enough!

Goodnight you lovely lot
x
