Day 16 of 365
Well what’s with the weather today huh? If I didn’t know better I’d say we were in Winter, crisp, windy and cold.
So today has started well, not done much again, I am relishing in my last few days of calm before the storm, in fact probably my last day. I figured I was cutting it a little fine with the bills for the new house. After all, we move in on Sunday/Monday and I have yet to sort out a television let alone Gas and Electricity, could be fun hey?
Ah so that’s my plan for today, to get it all up and running in time for when we move in, unfortunately can’t get broadband or television for a good week or so, this could mean I will have to hack someone’s internet to keep up to date my blogging, the library could work, at a push. Somewhere I will inevitably be spending most of my final year at University in. Last year was bad enough, for the last two weeks or term I spent the entirety on my own, mostly, in the library. I came home to shower and change my clothes that is all. I lived off coffee, relentless and junk food. I even graced the nearest Weatherspoons after a 36 hour stint in the library, at 6am, early doors - that wasn’t too nice. As mentioned above, I did go home after 24 hours!!
Ah how memories coming flooding back, on one of my last hand in dates I was due to go home for a couple of weeks before the final review. I had agreed to work the following morning at 8.30am, at home. So… it appears I crashed out on the Friday night at like 4pm and didn’t wake up until my colleague rang the following morning saying where are you, you’re late. Um, ah, um Im actually still in Leeds – I won’t be in for 3 hours, **** I forgot I was in work!!
After narrowly escaping being fired I am thankful to have the job, all that aside, today is a new day. It’s a Friday – I’ve definitely got the Friday feeling and get this – I’m actually blogging before midnight, well only just!
I think I may go out tonight for a few drinkies before my hellish 12 hour shift tomorrow, will be amazing leaving before 4am this week. It was also be a great feeling knowing I’ll finish work then it’s off for a night out on the tiles. I haven’t been out for a good month and a half, in fact since my 20th birthday, that was 30th July so that’s pretty long right? I have of course, been out of the house – I do have a social life believe it or not, just not ventured through the tunnel for a night out in the notorious city that is Liverpool.
I will no doubt be spending Sunday hungover, annoying the hell outta my parents who will be telling me to pack! You know how the story goes, however I’ll be sure to tell you more tomorrow and on Sunday in the daily posts – if anyone’s remotely interested ha!
Oh before I go, something cool happened today, my very good friend had his debut for England cricket team. I watched and it was weird seeing him on tele, I come home from a night out and he's only bloody trending on twitter, what I miss hey! There was a moment when I switched on, it was him slipping, I just had to take a photo...

In the meantime, I may not get a chance to blog tomorrow as I'm going out straight from my 12 hour shift, eek... it may not be the best idea to blog when I get in anyway, maybe a little tipsy!!
That could be quite fun though, last week I heard Adele (the singer) keeps a drunk diary as she says she's rubbish at telling her feelings while sober, pretty cool.
Anyway, enough of that,
Night
