So basically, I came across a clients blog a while back now and can't help but check back most days, it's become quite addictive to read about other people lives, sad it may sound but it gave me an idea. I am going to blog everyday, whether it just be a small saying or a huge babble, i promise to you, i promise to stay faithful, here goes.
Day 1 of 365
So today is September 1st, therefore I will be writing everyday until September 1st 2012. That's a scary thought, by then I hope to have a proper job, I'll be all grown up, I'll be 21 by then....
So the time is 15:28 and following a mild disagreement with Mum I am writing this whilst on a walk, dog in tow, laden with sunglasses, trusty iPod and questionably, most importantly the poop bag (too much info - I apologise) - I must make it clear I am carrying an empty Marks bag - (other supermarkets do exist!!)
Anyway after slamming the doors to try and make an impact, something I think I failed at doing off I go. Thankfully that little yellow blob has decided (finally) to make an appearance and I know just where to go, yes I have a favourite spot, I come here a lot of late, when the sun decides to shine that is!
Today is a normal day but as I begin my walk something feels different. Maybe it's because I've been away for a couple of weeks, maybe 'cos the last time, a few days ago now I was out running round here with mud splattered up my legs and all tucked up amongst winter layers. I guess I shall tell you more when I get to the 'spot'.
Okay, it didn't take long - I'm here, sitting on my bench, water glistening in front of me and a little cute boat bobbing up and down in the near distance. Unfortunately the dog decided to sit still for all of 2 minutes, can't blame him too much, there's far too many distractions.
It's really warm today and it seems a lot of pepple had the same idea, I mean there's practically a queue waiting for my bench, so before long I get up and head back, thinking, all the time thinking.
So I think today's a little different walking round here, it seems very quiet - schools are about to go back and it's the middle of the day so a few oldies taking a stroll. Well, also I guess it's 'cos when I look out across the estuary there's one thought on my mind and it's a sad one... This weeks been pretty sad for everyone on the Wirral I expect, that's where I live by the way. The sad news that a young girl, 17 year old girl named Hayley's body had been found wahed up on a nearby beach by a dog-walker on Monday morning. A post-mortem examination revealed she drowned. Her 21- year old boyfriend Robbie is still missing. As I looked out, I couldn't help but think his poor body maybe lying amongst the marshland. I hope, along with many others he is found soon, safe would be amazing but sadly now it's been 5 days, I just want them to find him already.
Anyway, so there goes - my first of many daily blog posts - I wonder if anyone actually reads this haha! It will probably just be a dairy for myself but hey - if you do read, why not comment- I'd love to hear from you, hellooooo is anyone out there, that kinda thing ;)
So I'm off to work, another day - another wedding - I guess I've never told you guys what I get up to, maybe tomorrow will be the day...
