Day 150 of 365
Saturday 28/1/12
Ahhh, another lazy morning it is.
That's before I got my ass into gear and headed to the library. For one second I think I forgot I have a huge hand in on Monday, possibly my biggest yet. I mean, I have to write 5,000 words.
An Architect may draw but my oh my, we 'aint good at writing.
Well, I would like to say I am not so bad, seen as though I write everyday to you lovely lot, however it's a slightly different pool of fish. I mean this is for fun, I need to get my geeky glasses on and start writing about hospitals.
So I did just that and what do you know, I have still got about 1,000 words to go.
I decided a change of scenery was needed and after meeting a friend for lunch, an hour passed, we got some sweets and snacks, another hour passed and before I know it, it's nearly dinner time and we're just heading back to the library.
So the question on my lips today is.. how on Earth am I going to bind this thing?
We have been told we must be creative, reasonable considering we're on a creative course.
Not so reasonable when I still have a long way to go with the writing let alone the thought of sitting with a needle and thread binding a book I wish would appear before my eyes.
I have decided to format the book to an A5 size, I am going to try and opt for a professional sleek look. How much I take from this I will never know.
Well I will know by Monday but that's still a long way off.
Anyway, enough of the jibber jabber.
How are you all?
I feel i have neglected you somewhat over the past week or so.
I promise to step up my game once I regain normality and sanity for that matter.
So, it's Saturday and I am wracking my brains for a new song to share with you all.
I hate to admit it, it may have to be something my Dad recommended.
I slid to the bottom of my chair when I said that.
It can't be that bad.
No, infact it's bloody brilliant.
It's a reggae version of Nirvana's classic. The original was brought out when I was just a year old, I doubt I was dancing about in my nappy then but now, now I love it.
Given, Little Roy the reggae soulfunk singer is a little extraordinary, I saw him perform recently on Jools Holland and I couldn't help but smile. His Nirvana inspired reggae album is really worth a listen... here's a little snippet. You may enjoy, take a chance...
