Ahh what a perfect day today was.
The best I've had in a long while.
So after managing to get a little work done, it's been pretty non stop since early morning.
We decided to go all out on this family malarky and so today, we decided for a cultural day in Liverpool.
Krispy Cremes, coffee and museum trips.
I was busy dragging my poor Dad 'round the back streets trying to find my site. I say my site, I mean for my course - we have been allocated a site in Liverpool - handy I know. Anyway, the unfortunate thing is, the site is currently under construction meaning we are unable to gain access. Another difficulty, being just a mere 5 ft 1 - our site is surrounded by 7ft walls! I felt 5 again as Dad gave me a 'leg up'. Unfortunately for me, he wasn't into playing the game and took off and left, leaving me hanging for dear life, given it was only a 2ft drop, I couldn't face it, so screamed like a child until he begrudgingly came back to let me down!
Anyway, after this, we found the most amazing little cafe.
Leaf cafe - I love it there.
If you ever get the chance, I urge you to go! Now unfortunately, I am going to have to be naughty and share the pictures from their website.
1. I have yet to find my camera charger
2. instagram was not behaving
3. the place was really full and to be quite frank, my cappuccino was just too good.
Here goes, take a look. Ps. I think I want my wedding upstairs! And, whats more, they were named the 4th best place to eat brunch in Britain by the Times newspaper!
Now then, we got home and opted for a bitty tea, the best in my opinion.
Pizza and wedges with the family. Perfect Sunday, only made better with the fact I am off to see Michael Kiwanuka and The Staves tonight and to be frank I can hardly bloody contain my excitement.
I will be sure to add a review, to the best of my capability - don't expect too much.
Also, wishing I had my camera but I will have to settle with a compact digital, the results may be poor.
Disappointing!
Anyway, back to Liverpool we go.
Fitting, song for today - Michael Kiwanuka covering a classic Led Zep tune.
Enjoy - it's far too good to keep to myself. Plus, since I get to see him in the flesh tonight I figure I ought to give you something!
