Day 171 of 365

Saturday 18/2/12

Good morning! 

Up bright and early on this fine rainy day to take my Nanny shopping. 

You will not believe this. 

My mother got in at 4.30am this morning.

Last night I went out and was back before my own Mother. Today has been spent mostly running food and drink to a poorly hungover parent whilst propped in bed, reliving her teenage years and horrifyingly recalling the 'shots' and dancing. 

Oh God.

Is this really my mother.

In all seriousness, as if this wasn't bad enough, my Nanny got chatted up today in a well known supermarket. 

Much to my belief. The cashier had a glisten in his eyes as soon as he peered over the till and caught a glimpse of 'that beautiful fresh young face' as he kept saying.

Truth is, it actually filled me with a little happiness and warmed my heart for the day.

Much to my fathers dismay, I am sure he was taken back to his teenage days, embarrassed of his mother as he looked on. 

So all in all, today as you can tell has been pretty full of family.

The weather is truly awful so there's nothing better than sitting in, with the rain landed heavily on the lanterns above. My house is pretty cool like that. Unfortunately I seem to have misplace my camera charger but one day I promise to show you my 'crib'.

In the meantime, just a song will do I am sure.
