Day 169 of 365
Thursday 16/2/12
Well hello there.
How be you?
Phew.
It's been an awfully long day.
A good one at that.
However, tired would be an understatement.
After a full studio day, I decided to get my geek glasses out, wipe away the cobwebs and carry myself to another Inside Out Lecture. An annual critical lecture forum hosted by The Leeds School of Art, Architecture and Design. So today it was the wonderfully inspiring works of Alex Haw, Architect & Artist at atmos studios.
I figure if you're not a like minded designer/architect like myself you may find this a little boring but I will try to keep you captivated. Here goes... Creating beautiful spaces, articulated and innovative.
Super cool huh?
Anyway, after this I got home and decided, after nearly 2 weeks had passed, it was maybe time to unpack my life out of a suitcase. Just as I was doing so, my phone went, my cousin (who lives in Leeds) asked if I wanted a lift home. Now, I wasn't supposed to be home this weekend, my Dad was supposed to be picking me up in Leeds on Sunday however, I'd be a fool to turn down the offer of a lift home.
So, off we went and 2 hours late I was stood outside my house hoping someone was in.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it to my parents, well I wanted to surprise them!
I've had a lovely night.
Squashed on a sofa, fire roaring and watching tele with my family.
Simple pleasures.
Ah it's good to be home.
I love spontaneous trips, they're always the best.
Ever the unique, whilst searching on Pinterest today I came across this brilliant photograph.
Making me want to fall in love and escape to the sunshine, ukulele in tow.
On that note, a song I cannot stop listening to:
Edgar - Lucky Elephant
Enjoy
