Day 157 of 365

Saturday 4/2/12

Good evening.
I am finally up to date with the blogging.
It feels so good.
Like a good 'ole spring clean.
So today... I have mainly been procrastinating of the highest sort, of course.

Of a good sort though. As a result I have something wonderful to show you lovely lot.
It's from the one and only Elsie. Whilst I am at it, I figure I may have forgotten to tell you who had sent me that envelope the other day, well it was none other than Elsie herself.

Whilst I am on that note, I would like to share this with you, my song of the day. I think I've only played it twice but I find myself sat here singing the words, I seem to know every one. I love the lyrics.

No relationship is perfect. I myself know this oh so well.
This beautiful rendition features the ever familiar husky tones of Elsie but it works so perfectly.
Filmed in one take, it's another indication of just how much talent this girl has to offer. Annoyingly underrated, I cannot wait for the day I turn on my radio and hear this girls voice blasting out. It's going to come and I have a sneaky suspicion it's not too far off. 2012 is going to see the release of Elsie's debut album and I can't wait. You better all buy it. Immediately though, you better all watch this video. It's an order, of the politest sort. Imagine that, I now have 5,000 of you lovely viewers, imagine if just a fraction of you lovely lot viewed this. It would mean so much.
You will not regret it, come on, come on.
It's for the greater good.
You know it.

On that note, after a day of blogging and singing like no ones listening, dancing round my room like no ones watching and jumping up and down at the thought of snow, I must retire.
May I also point out today I sprained my foot, the same foot I bloody broke a while back. Yes, today I sprained my foot dancing like a fool in my room.
I also watched the amazing, David Beckham on tele. My heart melted a little, i felt myself sink to the bottom of the couch, I am not afraid to say, not so long ago the one present I relied on at Christmas was his calendar, he was my crush as a teen, I think I may pee if I ever met him.

Infact, ironically this has meaning. Whilst nursing a broken foot my mother went to the races, here in Chester. Amazingly, she happened to be 'beckoned' or so she says, to the Manchester United area. This is showing my age, this was when David Beckham was the famous no. 7 and there he was, smiling at my Mum and her friends. The next day I looked to my side and there it was. A note, addressed to me. From none other than Sir. David Beckham. I wish I could find it right now to show you but my room is in midst of getting redecorated. Anyway, something along the lines of

'Hannah, wishing you and your foot the best recovery, Best wishes, David x'

And the best bit... he was also on crutches, nursing a broken foot, the same bones so I am told.
So that's my story of today kids.
I hope you all sleep better knowing the above.

One last thing, have you watched that video yet?
You better.
x
