Day 102 of 365

Sunday 11/12/11

Ahh it’s going to be an extremely long night, preparing for tomorrow. Work, work and more work on the agenda tonight. I can’t bloody wait. However, last day of proper work for a little while! 

At least I hope. 

Ever the procrastinating type, I have spent a little time tonight sifting through youtube and watching some sensational videos from good ole Jools Holland. For anyone who doesn’t know who this guy is, he has a Friday Night show, displaying some great musical talent. However, I have watched most of this years shows so instead I decided to search for some golden oldies. I hit gold, in none other than the wonderful Amy Winehouse. 

It makes me so sad when I listen to the talent, so quickly snatched away from us, only too soon. Her voice touches heatys and makes my spine tingle, my ears are crying to hear more and my face displays a grin from ear to ear. I have a hundred memories from her songs. From holidays to work and first loves.

 It definitely helped with the work that’s for sure. So much so that I must get back to work, music has to be turned off, I have a matter of hours to go, an all nighter, fo sho.
