Day 87 of 365

Saturday 26/11/11

Today is a good day. The arrival of my parents and my ever reluctant younger brother.

We headed into town early morning but it was very busy, this Christmas malarkey hey.
Joking, I am a big fan of Christmas shopping. Especially when Mother dearest comes to town.
Unfortunately for me, it was a good dose of window shopping. I came home with only a mascara, I had exchanged, so technically I didn't buy anything.

The thing I love about living here in Leeds is that I have a Harvey Nicholls on my doorstep. Of course there are many more things I love but this is a good thing. We split up from the boys and it was time to hit the shops, an hour spent in Harvey Nics was first on the agenda. I tried on way too many rings and necklaces, wanted them all and then, on my way out my eyes really hit gold. I fell in love. With a dress.
Unfortunately I didn't fall in love with the price tag.
A girl can dream?

A hearty steak, gin and tonic and a lovely day with the family, what more could a girl ask for?
Christmas market.
Yes.

I didn't want the day to end but when it did I moped around feeling sorry for myself as I was home alone. Luckily my parents brought me a lovely little advent calendar so I decorated my room a little.
Picture to follow. It's not your average advent calendar!

In the meantime, I best be off, time for some trashy tele and maybe a glass of wine... oooh.
Night
