Day 105 of 365

Wednesday 14/12/11

So today was day 1 of the workshop. Up early and raring to go... pfft not. 

We were put into groups, I felt like a kid at school again, eagerly awaiting my name to be read out, hoping I wasn't with the yearly freak show. Did I just say that? 

Oh well, group delegation began and we were off for a site visit. Cue rain.

Soaking wet I decided to accompany my friend to a meeting with an Architects firm who had planning permission to develop the site we had been given. 

The minute we walked in and shook hands with the partner he ordered for there to be some tea sent to the meeting room, thank goodness. A few sniffles and a thorough meeting and back to uni we went.

The thought of presenting a scheme to over a hundred people on Friday doesn't seem too inviting however, we will get through it!

It's a little harder than i expected working within a group, especially when there are only three of us designing. Plus those fiesty Town Planners like to shout at us! 

Tonight I have a photo montage to do, seems no one elses groups have started working yet but hey, maybe we'll win a box of choccies at the end of the week! Doubtful. 

It's Wednesday which of course means we're halfway through the week, it also means I am driving home for Christmas in a mere 2 days, I am happy.
