Day 85 of 365

Thursday 24/11/11

Good morning

So I caught all of an hours kip at around 7am, I am pretty sure that's not uniform. Many of you may have been waking up at that time, just as I lay my head on the pillow. 

Today is the day, again. Today, weirdly, I am feeling a little more confident than usual, let's hope it gets more like this as the weeks progress as there really isn't long to go. 

After battling in the print queue yet again, I finally headed to the studio, only an hour late... 

Luckily things are pretty informal at this stage in the game, well it helps when you get on with your tutors too - maybe this is due to one too many drinks in Germany?

My crit went surprisingly well, a few things to work on and adapt, a few things to develop. Thank god for my sketches, it seems they just can't get enough of them. Embarrassingly showing the class my 'beautiful sketches', guessing what was pinned up didn't really matter. 

Brr today is chilly. I know that following a brisk walk home, it takes about half an hour but I am sure we halved that due to the thought of a warm bed. 'We' decided to head to bed early doors as soon as we got in, movie night couldn't come quick enough as we were both shattered.

I didn't fall asleep, I think this may be the one and only time I have managed to stick through the whole film whilst lay down, it's usually an instant reaction, my eyes close about five minutes in and open abruptly during the end credits. Did anyone notice... ? 

It's getting late and we still haven't eaten dinner. One film down and one more lined up. I guess we may resort to rolling out of bed, walking out of the door into the chip shop, minimal effort required. Pfft... who said romance was dead!
