Today I decided to venture into the crazy world of Christmas shopping.

As if yesterdays food shop wasn't bad enough.

I was a little reluctant but the thought of doing it with my best friend made matters better. 

Liverpool isn't great at the best of times, its particularly busy, especially this time of year. 

Obviously, nothing compared to London but at least there, there are thousands of places to go hide away, even the markets are chic. 

Here in Liverpool however, there are some lovely shops to spend my day splashing the cash for my lovely family and friends. It's also my Grandads birthday on Christmas day so it's an extra special day for our family and this year, we're having the whole of my Mums family round for Christmas dinner. I think this is the first time, maybe ever. Cooking for 13, challenging.

So after not so long we were all sorted, in a relatively short time. 

Excellent. 

Tonight I may attempt some form of work, then again, maybe this week off is looking a little more appealing. I have a sneaky suspicion I will go for the latter.
