Day 107 of 365
Friday 16/12/11
Well my 6.30 alarm turned to 8am and then to 9am.
No montage done.
Makeup still on.
Alarm ringing in my ears.
I can sense today isn't going to go quite as planned.
I had no idea where this alarm was coming from, gradually getting louder and louder, I turned over and saw 'him' fast asleep, my phone was underneath his still body and i didn't have the heart to wake him up.
I did however have to get up, prising myself from a warm bed, unfortunately uni calls.
As I stood up i heard the ringing become louder and louder. Stumbling into the corridor I rubbed my eyes of last nights makeup and headed for Alex's room.
I stood there banging for a good ten minutes, she did tell me to wake her at 6.30 but seeing as though I'd only just woke up i thought all would be well.
Unfortunately Alex had other plans, I had no idea whether she was actually in her room, I didn't come home with her last night, bang bang, still no answer.
Eventually i heard a little squeal to which I responded by bursting through the door.
What faced me next...
Alex, naked, a face full of makeup and a sole earing hanging from her hair. Also, a pen in her bed, covering the sheets with ink.
The question on both of our lips... 'What happened last night'
I figure with my work work work ethic (pfft) and daily boring blogging when I do get out I feel you may think I really go for gold and let me hair down. Well that's kinda not too far from the truth.
However, I am by no means an alcoholic.
I do however, enjoy a good ole tipple.
Last night however...
Anyway, I headed into uni to find my group... unfortunately for me, I had to come into uni alone as Alex and kerry both decided to stay in bed for a couple more hours and 'he' wasn't even worth waking.
So last night we went to a bar called Sela bar here in Leeds to meet up with our tutor and a few members of our tutor group, Ellie Goulding has played there, it's a pretty sweet set up, live music, wine and pizza.
After getting a little merry we headed to meet the rest of our course in another bar just down the road. We had the whole club to ourselves and after a lot of crazy dancing I walked over to the bar to find 'he' had come to surprise me, getting on a coach at 11pm without any warning. I was a happy girl.
Anyway, following this a few of us, stupidly decided the night was still young. Karaoke bar called. What else. As we pulled up in a cab, my friend fell from the seat, kissing the cheeks of the pavement, unfortunately for him, that was the end of the night as he landed at the feet of the bouncer. One man down but that didn't stop us from having fun.
Anyway, to spare the details of what happened in between I will leave you with this. It's 3am and we've just been kicked out of the last club, everywhere is shutting, lights out, hometime. Not for us, I am walking bare foot, heels grasped tightly in hand, following the boys who are on the hunt for some grungy fast food.
It's now 4am and after falling up the stairs of McDonalds, may I add not myself, 'he' and I got a taxi back. It was in the taxi back, I remembered i had left my keys at home....
It was cold to say the least but after my phone died and attempting to remember as many digits as I could, attempting to fit my hand through the letter box to break into my own house, banging on the door, pacing the front garden to see if there were any open windows, I contemplated sleeping on the doorstep. lucky for us, my wonderful house mate from the flat downstairs woke and let us in.
So, I guess you gather from this the sort of antics us architects get up to when let loose.
I do not recommend or condone any of the above.
I will leave you with that.
Ooh and it's Friday which can only mean one thing...
Home time!
Driving home for christmas
