Day 119 of 365

Wednesday 28/12/11
The New Year is drawing ever so close.
I am not so sure how I feel about 2012.
I am so very excited but yet scared.
I graduate University, fingers crossed.
This means I have to grow up and get a job in the real world.
I am not sure whether to go to Canada, London, France, Manchester...
The possibilities are endless yet increasingly hard.

So today has been a pretty sweet day if I may say so.
Firstly I woke up a little later than expected with ten minutes before I was due to go out...
Fortunately Dad was in the same boat so we went for the later option - this was to see my baby cousin who was 1 today. Well, aren't they just adorable little kids?
Pretty cute, anyway, I had fun collecting a large amount of balls at my feet that had been launched at some force I may add, from the ball pond, met with giggles from a little girl who thought this was the greatest game ever.

We then came home and decided to spend more Daddy daughter time together with a trip to the cinema.
Sad as it may sound but it's one of my favourite things to do on a cold, wet day.
Like today.

So off we went, my bad - I did something awful.
I typed into a well known search engine the chosen film and cinema and noted down the time.
Luckily, we were early. When we arrived to see a rather large queue and the text :
'Girl with the dragon tattoo' will commence in 2 minutes.

I got a little worried, a little pang of sickness hit.
I had forgotten to change the cinema from University to home... So basically I thought we were going to see the 16:30 showing but it appears here at home it was 16:10.
Phew, we made it, I blamed it on the internet being faulty so Dad, if your reading this from the other room, please don't come in and shout...
I felt like a little kid again, looking up with worry as he scanned the screen above.
Something funny happened too... It was certified an 18. I had my ID - yes I am 20 but I still think I am 17 and yes, I look it. Also, proven - when asked my age I said 18, why? why do I always do this.
I AM 20. I AM 20. I AM 20.

So, they didn't just ask my age, but my Dads.
The lady asked, 'how old are you both'
To which I laughed in amusement and replied,
'I am 18, I mean 20 and he's umm, he's old'.

So there you go.
That's my day.
Tonight I am going to attempt work.
Wish me luck.
I hope your days gone well, nearly the weekend however my days have all merged into one of late.

Night
x
